Nazare Feliciano
Dr. Feliciano is an experienced teacher in the field of the visual arts. She has been teaching Ceramics and Sculpture full time at Palm Beach State College since 2001. She received her Ph.D. in Fine and Performing Arts from Florida Atlantic University. Her dissertation focuses on dance bodily knowledge and its articulation on sculpture. Prior to entering the Comparative Studies Program at FAU, Nazare Feliciano received her master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Fine arts Studies from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her ceramic art work has been published in books such as, Contemporary Ceramics by Susan Peterson, Ceramic Art Tile by Deborah Goletz, and ceramic magazines such as, Ceramics Monthly and Ceramic Art and Perception.
